This is where the biathlon family from all over the world gathers – former and current athletes, coaches, officials, and sponsors. Celebrities from other sports, including football, also like to join in. They can expect a day in a stylish setting, full of culinary delights from the Bavarian and Austrian regions, as well as a special side event offering a glimpse behind the scenes of biathlon.

With the VIP ticket, you have access to both the VIP tent, including a reserved seat, and the VIP grandstand in front of the shooting range. The VIP tent is located directly next to the athletes' warm-up area and offers an impressive panoramic view of the stadium, the athletes' areas, and the track through its large glass facade.

Generally, the following services are included in the VIP tickets:

  • VIP tent access including reserved seat
  • VIP catering including food and drinks
  • VIP grandstand access (free choice of standing places)

Here you will find a small collection of answers to frequently asked questions.

What exactly is allowed and what is not allowed in the stadium is stated in the stadium regulations.

Where can I park and how do I get to the stadium?

The VIP parking area is located opposite the Waldstadion in Ruhpolding (Seehauserstraße 69). From there, a VIP shuttle will take you to the stadium. Of course, you can also park in any other parking area and take the regular shuttle buses to the stadium.

Do I need a special parking ticket for the VIP parking space?

The VIP ticket automatically serves as the parking ticket and must be presented upon entering the VIP parking area.

Where and when do the VIP shuttles depart?

The VIP shuttles run continuously from both VIP stops to the stadium (if all shuttles are occupied, there may be short waiting times). The stops are located directly in Ruhpolding next to the VR Bank and at the VIP parking lot in the Waldstadion.

Where is the VIP tent located and what are its opening hours?

The VIP tent is located next to the athletes' warm-up area and opens approximately 2 hours before the race starts each day.

Do I have a reserved seat in the VIP tent and on the VIP grandstand?

Each guest has a reserved seat in the VIP tent, which is assigned to them daily at the registration desk. Standing room in the VIP grandstand is unreserved.

Are all food and drinks included in the VIP area?

Yes, all food and drinks inside the VIP tent are included in the VIP ticket.

Is there a guarded cloakroom in the VIP tent?

No, please always take jackets and valuables with you to your seat.

Can I switch between the VIP tent and the VIP grandstand at any time?

Yes, but please always have your ticket ready for scanning in and out.

Is there a VIP area in Championspark?

No, there is no separate VIP area in Championspark.
