The prognosis for the Biathlon World Cup 2017 in Ruhpolding looks positive. The ticket sales, which began in mid June, proved that interest in the event remains constant.

The ticket vendor AD Ticket also contributed to the successful sales. This vendor offers 360 ° Ticketing, which allows customers to tailor their purchases to their needs and offers marketing support. Tickets can now be purchased not only at the local Tourist Information office, with the classic online-order system at www.biathlon-ruhpolding.de (which can also be accessed using a tablet or smart phone on the AD Ticket sites), but also via the 24 hour hotline or at 2,800 additional advance sales locations throughout Germany.  Purchasing tickets has become easier and more versatile for everyone.

Markus Stuckmann of the Ruhpolding Biathlon World Cup Organizing Committee stated, "With this new ticketing partnership we have prepared ourselves perfectly for the future and are very happy that the initial launch was so successful.  AD ticket impressed us with innovative and intuitive solutions, in addition to the overall concept with which we can gain new biathlon fans. We also talked to AD ticket’s existing customers which confirmed our positive impression.”

Together with its affiliated company Reservix, AD ticket is Germany’s largest independent ticket sales company.  AD ticket & Reservix have over 300 media partners and 2,800 associated advance sales locations.
