Have you always wanted to peek behind the scenes of a World Cup in Ruhpolding? Then we have just the thing for you, because this year there is a special offer for Biathlon Fans.
You will meet the biathlon legend Fritz Fischer at his Biathlon Alm for a delicious Weisswurst (Bavarian veal sausage) breakfast and listen to his fascinating stories from his experieces as a former world class athlete and biathlon trainer.
Afterwards, a tour guide will take you to the Chiemgau Arena next door and provide you with exclusive insights from behind the scenes. The arena is not only a biathlon stadium, but also training and support center for cross-country skiing, ski jumpers and Nordic combined athletics. To get the full picture, you can take the chairlift* to the top of the Zirm-Mountain ski jump.
Interesting movie clips provide additional information and show the most emotionally gripping moments from the last World Cups. After visiting (for example) the Mixed-Zone and the team area, you can follow the race with full back-ground and insider information. You must have a valid ticket for the respective race day to participate in the tour.
The standard “World Cup-Tour” without the Meet & Greet session with Fritz Fischer will be offered several times a day. This tour offers every bit as much information as well as the same in-depth perspective into the Chiemgau Arena inner workings!
Both tours will be offered during the entire World Cup week.
