We will continue our commitment to inclusion in the coming season: At all races of the Biathlon World Cup in Ruhpolding 2026 (January 14 to 18), we will once again offer professional audio description for visually impaired fans.
The comprehensive offer includes:
- Vivid description of the races via a mobile app
- Seats in an accessible arena area
- Separate shuttle service to the competition venue
- Free admission for one accompanying person
Verena Bentele, president of the social association VdK Germany and twelve-time Paralympic champion, shared her enthusiasm after her visit last year: "Barrier-free sporting events for equal participation and a more holistic experience – that's how inclusion works! I will have fond memories of the Biathlon World Cup in the Chiemgau Arena because audio description was made available for the first time. This made the races much more accessible and emotional for biathlon fans with visual impairments."
